Introducing Melody

I am thrilled to reveal my latest original collection, Melody

After my previous collection, Songbird Symphony, I knew I wanted to continue with a musical theme in my work.

I heard story after story of how my songbirds resonated with people, and it confirmed what I already knew - that music and art are tightly interwoven.

I immediately knew I had to create a new musical instrument inspired series.

When I opened one of my many sketchbooks to start getting my ideas onto paper, I knew immediately that I wanted to bring in the relationships I saw between musical instruments and the patterns found in nature. I wanted the curve of a trumpet next to the curve of a flower's stem to show their similarities.

I wanted the setting of my story, if you will, to feel as if the musicians were playing an instrument on the gentle slopes of a rolling hill, and how that would make the perfect acoustics for an outdoor session on a perfect sunny day.

I created this collection with friends in mind.

I tried a new experiment with this collection and am so happy with the results.

I didn't coordinate this collection with a gallery or tie it to any particular date on the calendar.

For this collection, I gave the people on my VIP list exclusive access to the originals - first dibs, you could say, since we aren't very formal around here.

And I am happy to report that the secret release was a great success!

I am beyond grateful for everyone's support! It means more than you'll ever know to be able to create my art and share it with you.

While the original canvases are already on their way to their new homes, prints of the pieces will be available to purchase online at the Laurel Mercantile in Laurel, MS, soon!

Get on the VIP list today and I will let you know when the Melody prints are available. You'll also be the first to know when new collections release. And you can bet that I'll definitely be doing more secret releases just like this one in the future.

Adam, your work is so lovely. I have three of your works in my powder room and I am planning to get more for the rest of my home. What would you think of mermaids or horses in some of your work? I love your angels but there isn’t anything you’ve done that I haven’t loved. I would love a print of that glorious stork with the sun and waves. I wish to purchase an original of yours someday but right now I am looking at a bathroom renovation and it’s expensive but…..someday. Take care. God bless. Bonnie

Love your work Adam … always makes me smile.
